I’m Here to Help

About Me

I work primarily with young adults. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in the special education system as a behavioral technician where I had the pleasure of working with children of all ages, with a variety of developmental, environmental, and educational challenges. During my practicum and post degree work I have helped children and their families through a community-based program which provides mental health services for underserved areas.

Throughout these experiences, I’ve developed a passion for working with individuals who face unique challenges and finding creative ways to navigate those challenges. I am a firm believer that we all have value, but that can often be hidden by the challenges we face. In my work I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients can begin to work through their challenges and embrace their personally unique value.

Outside of my therapeutic work I enjoy spending time with my family, faith community, playing music and creating art.
